Gina Garris is a lover of LOVE. She has infused her life with sharing love as a woman, healer, teacher and mentor. Being in Gina’s presence allows you to relax into more of yourself. Without judgment, Gina naturally creates a sacred space of awareness, acceptance and appreciation of all aspects of you, light and dark. This permission from within calls forth new ways of BE-ing. Lightness, wholeness, juiciness, life without shame – are just some of the ways Gina’s clients describe the results of her work. Whether you encounter Gina while she is in the realm of sexuality & yoni workshops, intuitive bodywork, sexual healer sessions, or as a kundalini yoga and meditation teacher, she meets you wherever you are on your journey and just loves you. This hands-on class is a combination of herbal healing for women and the community-based, folk medicine practices Shelley has learned from her Maya teachers over the last 15 years. We will touch on the current practice of traditional Maya uterine massage in Mexico, the importance of uterine position, the traditional practice of spiritual healing with plants, and talk about a few of the most important herbs for women.

Shelley Torgove, Clinical Herbalist

Shelley is a botanical medicine practitioner with 24 years of experience, specializing in fertility issues, menstrual cycle problems, and more complex women’s health issues. She is part herbalist, part therapist, and part traditional healer. She is the owner of Artemisia & Rue.

What is the difference between impulse and desire? What is the driving force behind desire? How do I know which desires to act on? What is the correlation between innocence and desire?

For many of us desire is a confusing word. It can conjure feelings of longing or even disempowerment. It can become a concept we mistrust, or a thing we seek to control or judge. For others, it may be a place of indulgence and surrender, but for most of us, trusting our desire can be elusive, especially when unexpected results occur from our actions. Join me for an interactive exploration into our relationship with desire. We will be utilizing breath, curiosity and and personal inquiry to learn more about this powerful energy.

Anara Lani- Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Steward of Women’s Wisdom

Anara is a Somatic Sex Educator, a Way Of Mastery Pathway Facilitator, and an embodiment catalyzer. AnOne of her areas of expertise is the development of the sensory system. Our bodies are brilliant communication devices that inform us of everything we need in any given moment. Social customs and expectations can create mistrust of our natural wisdom, leaving us bewildered, disconnected, and feeling isolated. Through intentional breath, radical self inquiry, communication and practice we all have the possibility of reclaiming our birthright. Anara works with individuals, couples and groups to support freedom of the senses and ease with sexual expression.

The Feminine is a complex character and each of us carries a smattering of archetypal influences.  We may recognize our inner warrioress, child, critic, adventurer. Every archetype has many possible expressions and an embodied natural medicine that can help us recognize and reclaim the totality of our character. When we actively engage this wisdom, we can encourage meaningful play with our body,  and our life in the world. In this experiential workshop, we will tour the wheel of the zodiac, exploring the embodied archetypal wisdom and medicine of each sign. Come ready to love all the parts of you again.

Jessica Morningstar Wolf, Dancer, Mover and Shaker

www.jessicamorningstarwolf.com

Jessica gets people moving.  Consciously.  She believes in movement as exercise, art, therapeutic expression, meditation, natural medicine and prayer.   For nearly 20 years, she has been bringing awareness, humor and unique holistic perspective to people in their journey of embodiment.   She teaches classes, workshops & works individually with people in an invitation to move… and be moved.

The womb is the seat of soul according to the Mayan tradition. She is a living space with layers of experience and the wisdom of birth and shedding. We will explore our own narrative as womb-en, starting with a guided mediation and light yoga practice, opening into experiential writing and story-crafting. This workshop is open to all ages and stages, including women with hysterectomy or other anatomical transformations.

Laura Wade Jaster, MA, NCC Psychotherapist and Yoga teacher

www.spiralwellness.com

Laura Wade Jaster brings a unique depth and perspective to her teaching. Warm, engaging, and excellent with group experiences, you can find your welcome here.

In an experientially based session, you will learn what is actual emotional support for yourself, a friend or a loved one. Successful support of another is rooted in self-support. We will explore the many nuances of how to support ourselves and another simultaneously.  In learning how to have boundaries and healthy connection, our own experience of support becomes more fluid, safe and sustainable. We no longer risk draining ourselves with the false concept that support looks like abandoning ourselves to be with another.

There will be group work in this session as well as optional hands-on support experiences.

Danielle Vance MA, LPC Licensed Psychotherapist, Somatic Therapist

www.therapydenver.com

Danielle Vance MA, LPC has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 15 years. She specializes in somatic (body-based) and mindfulness approaches for trauma and self awareness to achieve growth and change.

Denver Sound Healer Chris Anne Coviello will play singing bowls tuned to the different musical notes of the chakra system of the body. Tibetan Singing bowls have been used for thousands of years as instruments of healing which balance the energies of the body. Since human beings are made up of mostly water, the vibrational effect will be a full body cellular massage.

So come relax and close your eyes as you drift into an altered state which facilitates the body to heal. Make sure you wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat or blanket so that you may lie down and let the bowls carry away with them all that no longer serves you. As your chakra’s re-align, you enter the profound state of physical, mental and emotional well-being. Leave as if you were 10lbs lighter, because that is exactly what will happen as stress, anxiety and fear melt from your system.

Chris Anne Coviello, Sound Healer, Yoga Teacher, Bodyworker

In this unique practice, we will be bridging the gap of science and meditation. By combining neuroscience principles with mindfulness, we can learn how to transform our lives. Join us on this path as we discover how to release and rewrite old limiting patterns, heal from stress and trauma and learn to flow through life with grace and ease.

This day is sure to reveal the spark of our feminine spirit… and add to our skill sets for nurturing, empowering and revering this intimately personal and global resource.  Now it’s time to LET HER MOVE!   This final session, with all of us in attendance, is designed to bring the wisdom and connections of the day all the way home… into the body.  Music, movement & meaning all come together in this guided journey; as we integrate and celebrate this (re)awakened feminine force.

Please wear clothing you can move in & bring your water bottle.  If you want to have a cushion for any seated movements, feel free to bring it.

*Even if you are uncertain of your movement stamina, please plan to attend.  You are welcome to partake at your level, even as a compassionate engaged witness.  It is a sweet sweet way to close our circle.

Soul Speaks is a deceptively simple process that stills your mind and opens your heart, allowing your true essence to shine through. This unique approach consists of a powerful centering process that has proven to have an extremely powerful impact on all areas of life, both personal and professional. It is based on a humanistic approach to overcoming the fear of public speaking, but is much more than that.  It provides a tangible tool for speaking powerfully and authentically in any area of your life, and enhances the ability to speak and live from your truth every day.

Here’s what participants are saying about Soul Speaks:

•Soul Speaks has boosted my confidence and helped me be and act from a more intuitive place.

•I listen better, and I am less afraid to say things honestly and openly.

•I now have confidence in my ability to pause and wait during speaking, rather than just pushing through and filling the silence.

Soul Speaks is a good match for the experiential learner, and anyone who wants to deepen their intuition, creativity and connection. It is healing and a blessing for the soul!

Friday night’s festival offerings include Dakini’s Breath Yoga. This lineage celebrates the spontaneous manifestation of the Goddess through direct knowledge and healing. Her Divine energy touches and transforms us through the sacred gifts of movement, sound and breath. These tools awaken the creative and regenerative forces resting in the sacred waters of the womb. They clear the subconscious and historical conditioning that often thwarts the full expression of our potential. They invite acceptance, inner knowing, and the ability to rest deeply into the Self. Join us in this loving exploration of the Feminine.

Chitra Giauque is Founder of Dakini’s Breath Yoga, a traveling temple of transformation offered to all beings who are longing for the return of balance through the Divine Feminine. Chitra’s certifications in Yoga, Ayurveda, Breema, and Pranic Healing are strongly influenced by Vedic Astrology, years of immersion in the Mystery School Teachings of Emilie Conrad and Amorah Quan Yin. She maintains a private practice in North Carolina and can be reached at chitragiauque@gmail.com until her new Page is complete.
